Membership

	Certified members are members who can document having worked at least 200 hours as either an unassisted (fully trained) medical scribe, are in good standing with their employer, have passed the ACCIM certification examination and have their dues current. Certified members have voting rights.
	Registered members are members who are unable to document having worked at least 200 hours as an unassisted medical scribe, however, are in good standing with their employer, have passed the ACCIM certification examination and have their dues current. Registered members have voting rights.
	Affiliated members are members who are unable to documents having worked at least 200 hours as an unassisted medical scribe and have not passed the ACCIM certification examination. However, they are in good standing with their employer and have their dues current. Affiliated members do not have voting rights.
	Corporate members are members who sponsor the ACCIM by maintaining their dues current. Corporate members have voting rights.

Section 2. Rights of Members

All members shall have the rights to attend and to speak at ACCIM meetings; to receive meeting notices, newsletters and other ACCIM publications; and to serve on committees.

Section 3. ACCIM Member­ship

Any person desiring to become a member of the ACCIM shall state their intention by completing the membership application in the space provided.

Section 4. Withdrawal from ACCIM

Any member may withdraw from the ACCIM at any time by tendering his/her resignation, in which case he/she shall not be entitled to any refund of local ACCIM dues paid in advance. Membership shall lapse ipso facto upon failure to pay local ACCIM annual dues in advance. Such withdrawal or lapse shall not operate to relieve any such member from liabilities said member may have incurred as a member of the ACCIM.

Certification Exam $85 for ACCIM Members, $135 for Non-Members
