What is ACCIM?

The American College of Clinical Information Managers (ACCIM) is the only governing body that has set a certification process, core of standards and advocacy group for an up to date job description, policies regarding certified Scribes, also referred as certified Clinical Information Managers (CIMs) and other encompassing Health are Information Technologies parties. ACCIM certifies scribes/CIMs who meet its professional, educational, and examination standards. ACCIM certification is sought and earned by certified Scribes/CIMs on a voluntary basis; in addition ACCIM is a membership association.
